XISTOS Développement stems from the University Pierre and Marie Curie, more specifically from the Computer Science Laboratory of Paris 6 (Lip6). XISTOS was created within the framework of laws issued by the former Minister of Education and Research, Claude Allègre, to boost the creation of startups. XISTOS responds to specific objectives: finalization, industrialization and marketing of research activities within university laboratories.

 

Therefore XISTOS Développement has been supported by the University 2000 funding and ANVAR (National Association to Develop Research) before raising funds to market its products.
