The developers of XISTOS Développement mainly come from the Computer Science Laboratory of Paris 6 (LIP6). Quite naturally, they have continued within XISTOS Développement the activity of research and development the laboratory has been carrying out for several years. This activity led to the publication of a number of scientific articles on disasters management and to the creation of data-processing simulators:
